I call this piece “Waterlogged Cabin.” This painting is my fantasy take on an idyllic river-side cabin. It includes native flowers, grass, rocks, and even a few locally found fish as well. I painted this digitally using Photoshop’s default hard round brush and then went over the print with white acrylic for brighter highlights and added texture. Overall, I think it captures what living in Montana feels like, and how each person who lives here is living as one small part within the surrounding forests and lakes.
